Frustrations of a Parent. How hard is it to Provide my Child with a World Class Education and the Very Best Start in Life or Even to Simply Obtain Value for Money?!

Whilst I was at Cambridge, one of my friends told me that he was the first person in the 100 year history of his school to secure a place at Cambridge or Oxford Universities (basically he was somewhat a hero at school for achieving this phenomenal feat). More shocking was the news that every year (at a different school) the Head of Mathematics at one of the best private schools in the country tells his students that wish to apply to Cambridge to read Mathematics, not to bother as it is too difficult to secure a place. You really do have to admire China for what they have achieved and the determination of Chinese parents to want their children to be the very best and conquer extraordinary feats in life. This tenacity and courage portrayed by Chinese parents has produced a new generation of highly successful and wealthy young men and women in China. All of this incredible success is a direct result of the Chinese respect (and understanding of the necessity) for a world class education and the outstanding power and success that results from obtaining a world class education. Whilst I was a student at Cambridge, when one of my professors (the incredible Professor Stephen Hawking, the cleverest man in the world) visited China, he was greeted as a god by thousands, everywhere he went. This was partly because he was Lucasian Mathematics Professor at Cambridge University (a post held once by Sir Isaac Newton, the greatest Mathematician and Physicist of all time) and partly because he was Professor Stephen Hawking. The point is, the Chinese really do value education, especially in Mathematics and Science.

In China, children attend school for 10 hours per day (as opposed to our 6 hours per day) and every single student attends tuition out of school, as he Chinese understand that tuition is the only way to propel their children to the top, far ahead of their competitors, allowing them to obtain the world class education (from the world’s greatest universities) that will see them with the power to purchase Rolls Royce’s at 3 times their true value. In the UK, the vat majority of Chinese students attend tuition and this enables them to always remain ahead of their competitors and other communities (Chinese students are widely known to be by far the most academically intelligent, out of any group). They reside predominantly at the best schools in the UK and the best universities in the UK (Oxford and Cambridge). Despite making up less than 2% of the UK population, each year the Cambridge Mathematics Department (the best Mathematics department in the world) comprises of around 20% Chinese students (this is an incredible achievement). It is no surprise that the highest paid jobs in the UK are scooped up and occupied predominantly by the Chinese and that they are the most successful and wealthiest group living in the UK. Every year, the Chinese produce a high volume stream of graduates from Cambridge and Oxford Universities that are so well educated that they can demand any salary that they wish (each earning millions of pounds per year), face no boundaries or drawbacks in life whatsoever and are free to experience life in all it’s luxury and splendour. All this wealth and success because their parents value the supremacy and dominance created by the investment (the gift) of a world class education for their children and the necessity for tuition to provide this extraordinary standard of education, that allows their children to accelerate past and remain ahead of the rest in life.

British parents are now realising that without acting, their children are being left and pushed further behind as each day passes.
